Vixen & Luxe hair extensions are made of 100% human hair that is cruelty-free and ethically sourced. No animals are used in its manufacture, and all donors are paid a fair price for their hair. The Smooth Weft technology is gentle on your hair and produces a natural, seamless result that blends perfectly with your own hair.
Maddie
Owner & Senior Stylist
Maddie brings over a decade of experience to her craft, specialising in weft and Nano tip extensions. She takes pride in focusing on achieving vibrant, beautiful results and her love lies in colour work.
But her passion lies with clients and the deep bond they share.
On the weekends, you will find Maddie Hiking, camping, on her kayak and breathing in the great outdoors with Moose in tow.
Bernadette (Bernie)
Senior Stylist
Bernadette has been in the hairdressing industry since the age of 16.
She has entered both hairdressing and photography competitions, and owned her own salon in Nelson City for three and a half years.
Her passion lies in being on the salon floor, cutting hair.
One of the most enjoyable parts of her job is the people she works with, the clients, and the friendships she has made along the way.

Shenayde
Stylist
Shenayde brings 7 years of experience, specialising in men's barbering and grooming. What Shenayde enjoys most is perfecting taper fades and mullets, always ensuring her clients leave looking fresh and stylish.
In her spare time, Shenayde is quite the adventurer. She enjoys engaging in various thrilling outdoor activities that keep her on her toes.
Moose
Chief Cuddle Officer
Moose is our Chief Cuddle Officer, and even with just three years of experience, she's already an absolute professional!
When she's not at the salon, Moose enjoys climbing hills with Maddie, adventures on the kayak and her fav place: the beach.
Moose joins us everyday at the salon brightening everyone's day with her affectionate nature and cozy lap naps.
